This year we're taking it BEYOND THE BENCH!
We’re seeking mentors who have degrees in STEM who work in industry, entrepreneurship, finance, consulting, and/or project management.
VanguardSTEM is back again to host our notorious Guerilla Mentoring event and we’re calling on our #VSVillage to come share your wisdom with emerging women and non-binary BIPOC scholars. The virtual event is on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 6-8pm EST and we need mentors from our community (that’s YOU, fam!!) to come through to support and uplift the next generation of women and non-binary folks of color in STEM.
The theme of this year’s mentoring event is Beyond the Bench. We’re seeking mentors who have degrees in STEM who work in industry, entrepreneurship, finance, consulting, and/or project management. Our community contains multitudes: many of our people are invested in research-based careers, but many also wish to do something different. We’re seeking mentors to reflect that diversity, and to help others in our community find their paths forward.
