This week’s #WCWinSTEM are the physicians of the Artemis Medical Society, women physicians of color who mentor young aspiring female physicians.
As compiled by Chrystelle Vilfranc
This amazing group of women physicians of color make up the Artemis Medical Society. These women aim to “serve, nurture and celebrate a global sisterhood of women physicians of color.” They are able to do this through mentoring, networking and advocacy for young women of color aspiring to be physicians. They are pouring into these young ladies; thus, they are providing a foundation for creating a diverse physician workforce, which will be beneficial to society.
